As hosts, siblings Carie and Ross will analyze this phenomenon by breaking down a favorite movie or television show and how the sights, sounds, and messages of media have followed our generation throughout our lives. So pour your favorite beverage, relax, and explore how our shared experiences with movies and television messed us up as a generation. Happy New Year, little onions! This week, the siblings kick off their 2020 season with Jim Henson's 1986 classic, Labyrinth, starring David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, and a bunch of nope-y goblins. Carie provides some missing context for the film's narrative, Ross relives some of his childhood trauma in the form of the Fire Gang, and the siblings gush about one of their favorite queer icons, David Bowie.
