Sometimes it makes us idolize Jeff Goldblum as a sex symbol. Sometimes a lack of representation makes you feel invisible. As hosts, siblings Carie and Ross will analyze this phenomenon by breaking down a favorite movie or television show and how the sights, sounds, and messages of media have followed our generation throughout our lives. So pour your favorite beverage, relax, and explore how our shared experiences with movies and television messed us up as a generation. Happy Valentine's Day, lil onions! This week, Carie and Ross break down an all-time favorite, Little Shop of Horrors (1986) starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Steve Martin. Carie fills us in on some of the technical specs of the Audrey II plant and the puppetry. Ross lavishes the Black Greek chorus with compliments for being the heart of the film. And the siblings laud the accomplisments of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken of Disney fame for their unforgettable score.

To send y'all off this year, the siblings are breaking down one of their favorite movie musicals of all time, Annie (1999). The siblings talk about the differences between the original 1982 film and the 1999 telefilm created for the Wonderful World of Disney, all the while lauding Rob Marshall for his impeccable staging and directing prowess. Ross has complaints about Alicia Morton's scream-singing, Carie practically sobs over the love between Warbucks and Annie, and despite the iconic performances of Kathy Bates and Alan Cumming, the siblings lament the lack of Carol Burnett and Tim Curry.

Happy Monday, lil onions! Reminder that we're taking this week off to recoup from the holiday, but we hope you'll enjoy revisiting our original coverage of A Bug's Life (1996)! Tune in next week as the siblings rehash their favorite Christmas episodes from children's cartoons.
This week we cover Pixar's A Bug's Life (1996), a story of innovation and rebellion. It's not quite that serious, but Carie and Ross are definitely here for the bug humor. Ross discusses his exetensial love for Geri's Game and Carie can't deal with actual sociopath, Kevin Spacey.
