As hosts, siblings Carie and Ross will analyze this phenomenon by breaking down a favorite movie or television show and how the sights, sounds, and messages of media have followed our generation throughout our lives. Carie has Hanna Barbara eyes for a young Heath Ledger, and the siblings tsk tsk tsk this particular work of Shakespeare.

For the first episode of Carie's birthday month, the siblings cover a beloved childhood favorite, The Secret Garden (1993), the story of Mary Lennox, who goes to live with her reclusive uncle on the Yorkshire moors and finds a secret garden once owned by her late aunt. Ross gets strength from the growth and rebirth elements of the movie, while Carie lauds the empowering message the story sends to children, especially little girls.
