As hosts, siblings Carie and Ross will analyze this phenomenon by breaking down a favorite movie or television show and how the sights, sounds, and messages of media have followed our generation throughout our lives. This week, the siblings get down to the nitty gritty with the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004). Carie and Ross follow SpongeBob and Patrick on their journey to retrieve the crown of Neptune so they can save Mr. Krabs from a bonefide crab bake. Carie remarks on how millennials all became Squidward, Ross remarks on the universatility of SpongeBob as an IP, and the siblings remember that the kid inside is better than the adult on the outside.

This one is scary y'all! For the last spooky selection of Halloween, the siblings break down James Wan's thriller, Insidious. Ross has a lot of trouble with the demon that makes clicking noises, and Carie points out the movie's atypical emotional depth that is uncommon in horror films.
