As hosts, siblings Carie and Ross will analyze this phenomenon by breaking down a favorite movie or television show and how the sights, sounds, and messages of media have followed our generation throughout our lives. This week, Carie and Ross break down an old favorite with our second alien selection of the month, Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds. Ross gives us the backstory on one of the original science fiction novels, the famous Orson Wells radio program, and the subsequent original film adaptation. Throughout the remake, Carie is horrified all over again about the emotions in the movie and Ross reflects on the general insanity of Tom Cruise.
