To kick off birthday month, Carie has picked Sin City (2005), the adaptation of Frank Miller's popular graphic novel series about life in one of the most dangerous cities in fiction. Ross predictably drools over Clive Owen, Carie is giddy about the armed sexworkers, and Ross's limits are tested near the end of the narrative.
